a. Unveiled 25th July 1920 by Lady Bowes-Lyon of Ridley Hall.

Memorial Description

Cross on stepped sandstone base 168cm x 144cm and approx. 4m high. The dedication and names from 1914-18 are on the front of the main plinth and the two steps below. Those for 1939-45 are on the right and left hand sides of the main plinth. The lettering throughout is of plain lead capitals stuck on to the stone.

Granite on sandstone base.
